Although it dropped a little to its lowest market share percentage in five years, Specialized retained its top spot, while SCOTT saw another incremental increase to retain its second spot. Fox, Abus, Giant, MET, Kask and POC all continued their gradual increases in market share.

Oakley remains the dominant brand in this category, but it dropped market share for the first time in five years. Prescription eyewear, which we added in 2023 for the first time, increased somewhat. A total of 91 brands were mentioned, some being fashion brands.

Has Ciovita reached its peak? An impressive South African success story saw Ciovita grab chunks of market share in the previous four years, but only just slightly increased in 2024. Still by far the most popular riding jersey brand though. First Ascent halted its decline to retain second spot with Anatomic dropping more market share but holding onto third.
This is a very competitive segment as more than 100 jersey brands were mentioned in the responses.
