Robbie’s Bicycle Concept (RBC), South Africa’s foremost suspension service and repair centre, has been appointed the official service and warranty centre for DT Swiss and X-Fusion suspension brands.

DT Swiss is a Swiss-based global brand that manufactures a range of bicycle components, including mountain bike suspension and suspension forks. X-Fusion is a United States-based mountain bike suspension brand that’s grown substantially in the past decade.

Newly formed X-Fusion South Africa will be handling the import and distribution for X-Fusion products in South Africa. RBC will be working in tandem with X-Fusion SA to ensure a seamless process for dealers and customer support.

“Because we operate the largest bicycle suspension specialist service in South Africa and service both the bike shops and the consumer, we have developed the credibility that international brands look for,” said Robbie Powell, owner and founder of RBC.

“Both DT Swiss and X-Fusion shocks and suspension forks are becoming more prevalent on a number of bike brands in South Africa and it’s fantastic to be given the official service and warranty centre status from both companies for South Africa.

“Suspension is a constantly moving part on a bicycle and therefore requires regular and appropriate maintenance. The growing mountain bike market in South Africa means there are more and more bicycles being ridden and a greater need for servicing by qualified technicians,” added Powell.

RBC has the most up-to-date equipment, spares and knowledge to enable them to service and tune any bicycle suspension.

In addition to servicing, RBC will also manage warranty cases on DT Swiss and X-Fusion shocks and suspension forks.

“Warranties are an important aspect of any high-performance product and RBC has direct contact with both DT Swiss and X-Fusion head offices to ensure that all warranty cases are addressed as efficiently as possible. The experience that a consumer has with a warranty usually determines that person’s perception of that brand going forward,” added Powell.

RBC, South Africa’s first mountain bike suspension service and tuning centre, is beginning to fill a gap in the local market by offering rapid turnaround of suspension servicing and tuning.

RBC also specialises in suspension tuning, a performance benefit that’s gaining increasing awareness as discerning riders discover the importance of suspension that’s optimised to their body weight and/or riding style.

RBC, South Africa’s leading bicycle suspension service and tuning centre, has been appointed as the official service and warranty centre for X-Fusion and DT Swiss shocks and forks in South Africa.

The Port Elizabeth-based business, which services clients throughout Southern Africa via courier delivery, also works on FOX, Rock Shox, PUSH, ElevenSix and Cannondale Lefty suspension brands. Tuning options from PUSH and Andreani for FOX suspension are also available.
